This appears to be the convention for other films which have been remade under the same name, e.g. I'd suggest renaming them to I Spit on Your Grave (1978 film) and I Spit on Your Grave (2010 film). If anyone wants to add to it, they're free to, but just.keep it under control. I'm gonna grab a 2 sentence plot summary from IMDB and put that in instead. As it stands, not only is it grammatically insane but it's also INCREDIBLY overly detailed (this would be too detailed for an Oscar winning classic, much less a poorly regarded remake of a poorly regarded film). It seems like the smarter thing to do would be just to pare down the summary.
